Dr. Effie Ahladiotis

Dr. Effie Ahladiotis is a specialist in Periodontology. She earned her DMD from Tufts University and her Master of Science in Periodontology from Columbia University. An active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the Northeastern Society of Periodontists, Dr. Ahladiotis combines a strong academic foundation with genuine care for her patients — bringing the latest techniques in dental implants and periodontal plastic surgery to every treatment.

Dr. Adam Calderone

Dr. Adam Calderone is a gentle, thorough, and deeply caring general and cosmetic dentist — and a lifelong Manhasset resident. He takes the time to truly get to know each patient through comprehensive examination, listens carefully, and builds individualized treatment plans that reflect each person's unique needs and goals. Dr. Calderone completed his undergraduate studies at Hobart College and his graduate work at St. John's University, then earned his DDS from New York University College of Dentistry in 2004. He completed his General Practice Residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in 2005 and has been practicing for over fifteen years.

Dr. Monica Tanna

Dr. Monica Tanna is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist with experience coast to coast — and a proud Manhasset resident herself. She specializes in dental care for children of all ages, with a focus on establishing positive experiences and healthy habits from the very start. As a mother, she understands that every child is different and tailors her approach accordingly. Dr. Tanna earned her dental degree from the University of Maryland, completed her General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center, and her pediatric specialty training at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center. She subsequently practiced in California before returning to New York, where she also served as Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Tanna is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Jeannine Weiss

Dr. Jeannine Weiss brings an extraordinary breadth of experience to pediatric dentistry. She earned her dental degree from NYU College of Dentistry, completed a General Practice Residency at SUNY Upstate Medical Center, a Dental Anesthesiology Residency at Brookdale Medical Center, and her Pediatric Dental Residency at NYU. She remains board certified in both pediatric dentistry and dental anesthesiology. With 17 years at North Shore Dental Group, she has also served as Pediatric Dental Program Director at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center for eight years, directing the first pediatric dental residency program in Queens, where all residents have successfully become board certified. A decorated U.S. Navy Captain, Dr. Weiss was deployed to Guantanamo Bay and served on Continuing Promise 2018. She is also an EMT-B and Class A firefighter, having just completed her term as president of the Albertson Fire Company. Her commitment to children, patients with special needs, and underserved communities is at the heart of everything she does.

Dr. Seiichi Yamano

Dr. Seiichi Yamano is an Associate Professor of Prosthodontics at NYU College of Dentistry, trained at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He holds a DDS, PhD in Immunology, DMD from Penn, and an MMSc from Harvard, with additional fellowship training at the NIH. A renowned researcher, lecturer, and editorial board member, Dr. Yamano has received NIH research grants and is recognized nationally and internationally for his expertise in prosthodontics and implant-based care.
