Monica Tanna, D.D.S
Dr. Monica Tanna is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist with experience coast to coast. She specializes in the dental care of children of all ages with a focus on putting children on the path to lifelong healthy teeth right from the start. As a mother herself, Dr. Tanna knows that each child is different and her goal is to establish a positive dental experience from a young age by creating an oral health plan for each individual based on their dental needs.
Dr. Tanna earned her dental degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and completed her General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center. During her time there she solidified her desire to become a pediatric dentist and continued her training by obtaining her specialty degree in Pediatric Dentistry at the Brookdale Hospital Medical Center.
After completion of her training, Dr. Tanna spent two years in California working in private practice where she gained experience across all aspects of pediatric dentistry. Since moving back to New York Dr. Tanna has kept herself busy working in private practice and serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University College of Dentistry.
Currently, Dr. Tanna is a voluntary attending in the Department of Dental Medicine at Northwell Health. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and New York State Dental Association.
